    Refund Policy

    Effective date: 20 April 2026

    Important: Parkoza is a peer-to-peer marketplace. We are not a party to transactions between Owners and Renters, and do not process refunds on their behalf. Please read this policy carefully before booking.

    1. Overview

    Parkoza is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects parking space owners ("Owners") with drivers ("Renters"). Parkoza is a technology intermediary โ€” we are not a party to the transaction between an Owner and a Renter.

    Because payments and cancellations occur directly between Users, Parkoza does not issue refunds on behalf of Owners. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work depending on the payment method chosen for your booking.

    2. Pay at Parking (Cash or UPI)

    For bookings where the Renter pays the Owner directly at the parking spot โ€” either in cash or via UPI โ€” no payment is made through Parkoza at any point.

    In the event of a cancellation or dispute for these bookings, Parkoza has no involvement in and no ability to process any refund. Any resolution is entirely between the Owner and the Renter.

    3. Pay Online (UPI)

    For bookings paid online via UPI, the payment is processed through our third-party payment gateway. Parkoza currently does not collect or hold booking funds โ€” the transaction is settled directly.

    If a booking is cancelled before it begins, the Renter should contact the Owner directly to discuss a refund. Parkoza does not intervene in or guarantee the outcome of such discussions.

    If you are unable to resolve a payment dispute with the Owner, you may contact us at info@parkoza.com and we will do our best to assist, though Parkoza makes no guarantee of any particular outcome.

    4. Cancellations

    Either party may cancel a booking before it begins. Cancellation does not automatically entitle the Renter to a refund โ€” this depends on the payment method and any agreement reached with the Owner.

    For bookings that are cancelled well in advance (more than 24 hours before the start time), we encourage Owners to refund the Renter as a matter of goodwill. However, Parkoza cannot enforce this.

    For same-day cancellations or no-shows by the Renter, the Owner is not obligated to provide any refund.

    5. If the Owner Fails to Provide Access

    If an Owner fails to make the booked parking space accessible at the agreed time, the Renter should first attempt to contact the Owner through the Parkoza platform.

    If the Owner is unresponsive and the Renter is unable to use the space, the Renter may contact us at info@parkoza.com with their booking details. We will review the case and, where appropriate, mediate between the parties.

    Parkoza is not liable for losses arising from an Owner's failure to provide access, but we take such reports seriously and may take action against Owners who repeatedly fail to honour bookings.

    6. Disputes

    Parkoza is not obligated to intervene in disputes between Owners and Renters. Where we choose to assist, this does not create any legal obligation or liability on Parkoza, nor does it imply we endorse either party's position.

    We encourage all Users to attempt to resolve disputes amicably and in good faith before escalating. For any unresolved dispute, please contact us at info@parkoza.com with your booking ID and a description of the issue.

    7. Platform Service Fee

    Any platform service fee charged by Parkoza in connection with a booking is non-refundable, except where Parkoza is directly at fault for a technical error that prevented the booking from being completed.
